I did it. I finished it.

I have almost no non-spoilerish words. So....
These are base reactions, since I JUST finished the book.
Hedgewig - I got teary-eyed over the owl, okay?
Mad-Eye Moody - That one caught me a little off-guard.
Dobby - HOLY SHIT. I sobbed. That's right. SOBBED.
Fred Weasley - That was just MEAN and WRONG and I am SO upset. There was more crying here.
Lupin/Tonks - The news of their deaths was SO sudden and out of the blue and it just shocked me to the core that I started crying AGAIN.
McGonagall - KICKS ASS. Seriously. I cannot wait to see Maggie Smith do this movie. Seriously.
Snape - Fine, fine. I felt sympathy for the guy in the end. His death was uber sudden too. Well, I guess most of them were though....
Ron/Hermione - ABOUT FRIGGIN TIME. There wasn't as much of them in the very very end as I would have liked to see. Loved the wedding where he demanded they dance. Loved all their interactions. It was so real when she was furious after he came back. I just loved how they were constantly with each other and constantly protecting each other from the very get-go. The sleeping scene where they're hands were almost touching? Lovely. And I was glad Harry finally told Ron how upset Hermione was when he left. It was about time he stepped in and made it clear how they felt about each other.
Mrs. Weasley - HELL YEAH. "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH" might be my new favorite line. Ever.
Hogwarts/Students/Good Guys - You guys really know how to fight. Suits of armor suddenly coming to life. Way to go all Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Lovely. Just lovely.
Neville - Rocks, as always.
Harry - I sobbed as he went to Voldemort to meet his certain death. When James and Lilly and Sirius and Lupin walked with him, I just CRIED. So forgive me for feeling slightly cheated when he lived. I mean, the end scene with Voldemort was WONDERFUL. I LOVED the dialogue. But...the epilogue left me a little disappointed. It was just a little too happily-ever-after for me. I guess I was just really ready for Harry to die.
Overall, it was FABULOUS. Come on, I read 759 pages in one day. I didn't get dressed, I didn't put my contacts in, I barely ate....Wonderful. I loved it. Now to wait anxiously for the movies to be made....
